A central focus is advancing research into Foundation Models as rapidly as possible across disciplinary domains, while ensuring the initiative's long-term impact serves the common good. Special emphasis is placed on methodological issues related to understanding how such models function, such as scalability issues and training with large and extremely diverse datasets.
